Meaghan Rath, known for her role in Hawaii Five-0, has been cast as a series regular in AMC and AMC+’s new Silicon Valley drama created by Jonathan Glatzer. She will star alongside Billy Magnussen and Sarah Goldberg.
The show is set in the world of Silicon Valley, where corporate cultures are often misguided, innovation labs chase impossible ideas, and private schools are fiercely competitive. The story focuses on a conflict between Duncan, a tech CEO who calls himself the “inventor of the future,” played by Billy Magnussen, and Joanne, a self-serving performance psychologist, played by Sarah Goldberg. Their lives become tangled in a scandal involving the misuse of personal data.
Meaghan Rath will portray Anushka, the Chief Ethicist at a tech company based in Cupertino. Her character has a past connection to Duncan, as she is his former mistress.
Jonathan Glatzer serves as the writer, executive producer, and showrunner of the series. Gina Mingacci also holds an executive producer role. The series is produced by AMC Studios.
