The number of active extortion investigations in Surrey has nearly tripled since early June, according to Surrey police. Police in Surrey are asking for the public’s help in finding a man wanted in connection with a violent stabbing. The incident took place earlier this month near a quiet neighborhood in the city. Officers responded to a report of a stabbing on July 14. The incident happened near the intersection of 109 Avenue and 148 Street.
