Brandon audiences are set for a night of laughs as Canadian comedian Brent Butt brings his stand-up comedy show to the Western Manitoba Centennial Auditorium (WMCA) on Wednesday, November 26, 2025. The performance begins at 7:30 p.m. and is part of Butt’s nationwide tour across Canada.

Best known as the creator and star of the hit sitcom Corner Gas, Butt has earned a reputation for his sharp observational humor and engaging storytelling. His down-to-earth style has made him a beloved figure in Canadian comedy for decades.

Tickets for the Brandon show are priced at $62.25, including taxes and service charges. They went on sale Thursday, September 4, and are available in person at the WMCA Box Office or by phone at 204-728-9510.

Fans can expect a performance that blends decades of comedic experience with fresh material. Butt often draws from his “tickle trunk” of jokes, keeping each show dynamic and tailored to the audience. His conversational style allows him to interact naturally with fans, making each performance unique.

Butt’s comedy career spans nearly four decades. He began performing stand-up at a young age in Saskatchewan and went on to create Corner Gas, which became one of Canada’s most successful sitcoms. The show earned multiple awards, including Gemini and Canadian Comedy awards, and continues to be enjoyed in reruns and on streaming platforms.

In addition to his television work, Butt continues to tour regularly, performing in cities across the country. His shows are a mix of stand-up, storytelling, and audience-driven improvisation, ensuring that every performance feels personal and entertaining.

Whether revisiting classic Corner Gas humor or sharing new material, audiences in Brandon can expect an evening full of laughs. Butt’s commitment to keeping comedy fresh and relatable has made him one of Canada’s most respected and enduring comedic voices.
