Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are returning to their Canadian roots to create an original scripted TV series. The comedy duo, known for their sharp humor and hit productions, has signed a deal with Bell Media to bring a new show to Canadian screens. The upcoming series will air on both CTV and Crave, Bell Media’s popular broadcast and streaming platforms.

This new project marks the first scripted TV show made by Rogen and Goldberg specifically for the Canadian market. Both were born in Vancouver and have long maintained ties to Canada, despite building much of their careers in Hollywood. Their production company, Point Grey Pictures, will lead the creative work on the series.

The deal was made possible through Point Grey’s partnership with Lionsgate. While the companies have not yet revealed the title or storyline of the series, fans can expect the humor and originality that Rogen and Goldberg are famous for.

Earlier this year, the team contributed to another Canadian production, “The Great Canadian Pottery Throw Down.” This reality competition show, based on a successful British format, aired on CBC and highlighted Canadian artistic talent. Though it was a different kind of show, it marked another example of the duo’s growing investment in Canadian entertainment.

Point Grey Pictures has produced several major hits in the past. One of the most well-known is “The Boys,” a dark superhero series that streams on Prime Video. They are also behind the adult animated comedy “Sausage Party,” which gained a large fan following. Another upcoming project from the team is “The Studio,” a comedy set in the world of Hollywood production. That show will stream on Apple TV Plus and stars Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, and several other big names.

Despite their global fame, Rogen and Goldberg continue to value their Canadian identity. In a joint statement, they expressed excitement about the Bell Media deal. They said they hope the partnership leads to “creatively exciting and financially lucrative work that flows forth from our alliance like syrup from a well-tapped maple tree.” They also shared their love for Canada, calling it “the greatest country on Earth,” and said it deserves “the greatest content on Earth.”

Bell Media has not shared further information about the upcoming show. There is no confirmed release date, cast, or production schedule yet. Still, the announcement has created buzz among Canadian viewers and entertainment fans around the world.

For Bell Media, this deal could bring a fresh boost to its original content offerings. With the growing demand for unique and engaging shows, especially on streaming platforms, this partnership comes at the right time. The mix of star power, humor, and Canadian pride could make the show a major success.

Rogen and Goldberg have a strong record of blending comedy with social commentary. Their past work often explores bold themes while keeping audiences entertained. If their new show follows the same pattern, Canadian viewers can expect something both funny and meaningful.

As anticipation builds, many are watching to see what this celebrated duo will deliver next. Whether it’s outrageous comedy or clever storytelling, one thing is clear — Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg are ready to bring something special to Canadian screens once again.
