Coldstream police are asking the public for help identifying two persons of interest in the unsolved double homicide of Camilo Alonso and Jacob Rommann.

The incident occurred on January 17, 2023, at a home in the 8500-block of Clerke Road, south of Vernon. Officers responded to reports of an assault with a weapon early that morning. Upon arrival, they found two people dead and a third suffering life-threatening injuries.

Authorities have renewed their appeal for information on the second anniversary of the killings. Staff Sgt. Jason Smart emphasized that there may be individuals with knowledge of the incident who have not yet come forward.

“As we mark two years since the deaths of Camilo Alonso and Jacob Rommann, we urge anyone with information to contact police immediately,” said Smart.

Police have released images of two men believed to be persons of interest. Investigators are seeking to speak with these individuals to advance the case and gather critical information. The identities of the persons of interest have not been publicly disclosed, but authorities hope the photos will help the public recognize them.

Coldstream authorities continue to treat the case as a priority. They are reminding anyone who may have witnessed suspicious activity around Clerke Road on the morning of January 17, 2023, to provide details that could assist in the investigation.

Tips can be submitted through a dedicated police line at 1-877-987-8477. Investigators stress that even small pieces of information can be valuable in solving the case.

Police are also encouraging residents to remain vigilant and report any relevant information confidentially. The release of the images aims to renew public awareness and generate leads that could help identify suspects or clarify the circumstances surrounding the double homicide.

The Coldstream community continues to grapple with the impact of the violent deaths. Authorities hope that by engaging the public and releasing these images, someone will come forward to help bring closure to the families of Camilo Alonso and Jacob Rommann.

Investigators have thanked the community for its continued support and cooperation, highlighting the importance of timely tips in resolving unsolved cases. The police department reiterates its commitment to thoroughly investigating all leads to ensure justice is served.
