Fort St. John RCMP officers have arrested a man who was wanted on multiple charges, officials confirmed on August 20.

Wayne Bradley Pizzey, 57, was taken into custody following a bench warrant issued for failing to comply with a probation order and driving while prohibited under the Motor Vehicle Act. Pizzey was one of several individuals the Fort St. John RCMP were seeking recently.

Police had issued a public notice on August 14, asking residents to report any sightings of Pizzey. The detachment regularly issues such notices when individuals fail to meet court or legal obligations.

The RCMP emphasized that the arrest is part of ongoing efforts to ensure public safety and uphold the law. Officers continue to pursue other individuals wanted in the region.

Authorities encourage anyone with information about the whereabouts of other wanted persons to contact the Fort St. John RCMP immediately at 250-787-8100.

The arrest highlights the importance of community assistance in law enforcement efforts. Public tips often help authorities locate and apprehend individuals who are evading legal responsibilities.

Wayne Bradley Pizzey will face the charges outlined in the bench warrant, including violations related to probation and driving restrictions. RCMP officials did not disclose details regarding his court appearance or further proceedings.

Fort St. John RCMP continue to work closely with the community to ensure all wanted individuals are identified and taken into custody. The detachment reminds residents to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity.

This case is part of a broader pattern in the area, where police monitor and pursue those who violate probation orders or other legal restrictions. The public plays a key role in maintaining safety by providing timely information to law enforcement.

Residents are advised to remain aware of safety guidelines and report any suspicious activity directly to the RCMP. Cooperation between law enforcement and the community remains a cornerstone of effective policing in Fort St. John.

Police officials noted that arrests like Pizzey’s demonstrate the effectiveness of ongoing investigative efforts combined with public cooperation. They stress that anyone wanted by authorities should come forward to avoid further legal consequences.

Fort St. John RCMP encourage citizens to stay informed through official channels and to continue supporting local law enforcement initiatives aimed at keeping the community safe.

The detachment’s efforts reflect a commitment to law enforcement transparency and responsiveness. Citizens are reminded that providing accurate tips can significantly aid in resolving cases efficiently.

Authorities continue to follow up on other active warrants, and the community is urged to assist where possible. The cooperation between residents and police remains essential in reducing crime and ensuring compliance with legal orders.

Wayne Bradley Pizzey’s arrest marks a step forward in the RCMP’s efforts to uphold the law and protect public safety in Fort St. John. Additional updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
