The Kelowna Central Okanagan Minor Baseball U18 AAA team is raising funds to support their travel across British Columbia and Calgary this season. A raffle and a 50/50 draw are underway to help cover expenses for the dedicated team.

Players aged 15 to 18 have been training hard since January. They practice five days a week, including Friday nights, to get ready for their busy season ahead.

The fundraising efforts aim to ease the financial burden of travel costs as the young athletes compete in various tournaments throughout the province and beyond.

Three exciting raffle prizes are available to win. The first prize is a signed, authenticated bat from Vladimir Guerrero Jr., a star player for the Toronto Blue Jays. The second prize offers a round of golf for four at the Gallagher’s Canyon championship course, complete with cart rental. The third prize is a $500 gift certificate for Evil Genius Tattoos, which also includes a T-shirt.

Interested supporters can enter the raffle through option one on the Rafflebox website. Alongside the raffle, a 50/50 draw is offered as option two, giving participants another chance to contribute and win. The draws will close on August 5.

This fundraiser plays a key role in helping the Kelowna U18 AAA baseball team focus on their game, reducing financial worries, and promoting youth sports in the community.
