Police are also requesting dash cam footage from drivers in the Predator Ridge area during that time frame. Footage may help investigators piece together the events leading up to the incident.
The RCMP emphasized that even small details could be important. They are urging residents and commuters to check their cameras and report anything relevant.
Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact the Vernon North Okanagan RCMP at (250) 545-7171. When calling, people should quote file number 2025-16636.

Residents in the area are reminded to drive carefully and be aware of pedestrians and unusual activity on local roads. Police said that public safety remains a top priority while the investigation continues.
The RCMP thanked those who have already provided information and urged anyone with additional insights to come forward. They assured the public that all tips will be treated with confidentiality and used to support the investigation.
