Langley police are searching for Dustin Erich Jones, 38, wanted for aggravated assault and assault with a weapon. Jones is also charged with mischief under $5,000, according to Sgt. Zynal Sharoom, a spokesperson for the Langley RCMP. He is described as a white male, about 6 feet tall, weighing 190 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Jones has a dragon tattoo on the left side of his chest. Authorities believe Jones is somewhere in British Columbia. He is considered dangerous and the public is urged not to approach him. The Langley Arts Council is rolling out a new program aimed at giving artists in British Columbia more chances to grow. The art rentals and sales program will connect artists with businesses and public venues, allowing them to display and sell their work more easily. The goal is to help both new and established artists by creating professional, income-generating opportunities. The program is designed to place local art in offices, community centers, public buildings, and similar venues throughout the province. The Langley ukulele camp is more than just music lessons. It helps children discover their love for music, form strong friendships, and build self-esteem. Organized by the Langley Ukulele Association, this five-day summer camp runs from August 18 to 22 at Yorkson Creek Middle School in Willoughby. Dozens of children have already signed up, and more are expected in the coming days. The camp is open to kids between the ages of six and twelve. Community members are encouraged to take part in a special environmental activity this Sunday, July 27. Volunteers will gather at James Anderson Park in Langley to remove invasive plants and restore native green space. The event is part of an ongoing effort by a regional environmental group that organizes weed removal and park clean-up events across the area.
