Starting October 27, travelers can fly direct between Kelowna and Cranbrook. This new route was announced by Pacific Coastal Airlines on August 6.

Johnathan Richardson, Vice President of Commercial at Pacific Coastal Airlines, said the new schedule offers flights in the preferred morning and afternoon times. He added that the service improves regional air access in the Okanagan. It also allows easy one-stop travel between the Kootenays and Vancouver Island.

The airline will use a 19-passenger Beechcraft 1900 aircraft for daily flights. These will leave Cranbrook in the morning. Passengers can connect through Kelowna to reach Victoria, Nanaimo, and Comox. Return flights will operate in the evenings.

To mark the launch, Pacific Coastal Airlines is giving a 20% discount on flights between Cranbrook and Kelowna. The offer also applies to connecting flights to Nanaimo, Victoria, and Comox. Travelers can book their flights at pacificcoastal.com by August 20. They need to use the code YXC20 to get the discount.

This new flight route will make travel easier for people living in these regions. It opens up more options for quick trips and better connections to Vancouver Island.

The introduction of this service highlights the growing demand for regional air travel. It helps support local economies and tourism by improving accessibility.

Passengers will benefit from convenient flight times and efficient connections. This allows them to plan their trips with less hassle and more flexibility.

Overall, the new direct flights between Kelowna and Cranbrook will strengthen the transportation network in the area. It also creates new opportunities for business and leisure travelers.
