The Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding a man who has been missing since mid-July.

Shaye Lilley, 47, was reported missing on July 15. According to police, he might be traveling north of Kamloops in a black 2017 GMC Sierra pickup truck. His current location is unknown, and investigators are hoping that someone has information that could help bring him home safely.

Lilley is described as six feet tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has blue eyes and is balding. Police have not said whether foul play is suspected, but they are concerned for his well-being.

Authorities are now urging residents in Kamloops and surrounding areas to stay alert. People who may have seen Lilley or his truck are encouraged to speak up. Even small details may be important in the ongoing search.

Those with any information are asked to call the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. Callers should refer to file number 2025-22653 when providing tips.

Community members often play a key role in helping locate missing people. In past cases, public tips have led to successful outcomes. The RCMP are hoping for a similar result in this case.

When someone goes missing, every minute counts. That’s why officials urge people not to wait if they think they’ve seen something. Reporting a sighting right away gives search crews the best chance to respond quickly.

Lilley’s vehicle, a black GMC Sierra from 2017, may be a useful clue in the search. The truck is a common model, but police hope that someone has seen it in an unusual area or parked in a remote location.

The Kamloops RCMP continue to investigate all leads. They are also working with other agencies and departments as needed. In similar situations, cooperation between different law enforcement teams can often make a difference.

The search remains active, and updates will be shared with the public as more information becomes available. In the meantime, police are reminding people to be alert and report anything that seems out of place.

If you or someone you know has any information, do not hesitate to contact the Kamloops RCMP. Timely action and public awareness are key in helping families reconnect with their loved ones.
