Langley RCMP are asking for help from the public after a deadly crash involving a motorcyclist on Highway 1 in British Columbia.

The crash happened Saturday evening, just before 8:30 p.m., between 264th and 248th Street on the westbound side of the highway. Emergency responders, including BC Emergency Health Services and Township of Langley firefighters, rushed to the scene. Sadly, the motorcyclist died at the site.

Authorities, including collision analysts and the BC Highway Patrol, are now investigating the crash. Due to the incident, the westbound lanes of Highway 1 were closed for several hours, causing traffic delays.

Langley RCMP urge anyone who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to come forward and contact them. Your information could be vital to the ongoing investigation.
