A serious police incident at a Langley residence has been safely resolved, authorities confirmed. The event occurred on Saturday afternoon near 208th Street and 71st Avenue.

The Lower Mainland Integrated Emergency Response Team (IERT) was called in to assist with the investigation. Police said the situation was contained without injury and posed no ongoing risk to the public.

Officials emphasized that the community was never in danger and thanked residents for their cooperation while the investigation was underway.

The RCMP continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident and will provide updates if new information emerges.
