Gunfire hit a banquet hall in Surrey early Monday morning. A staff member found damage outside the Royal King Palace at around 1 a.m. Later, at 11 a.m., police were called to check the scene. Officers confirmed that the damage came from bullets. No one was injured, and nearby buildings were not affected.

Police said it is not yet clear if the banquet hall was the main target. They are also unsure when exactly the shots were fired. Officers are looking at all possible reasons behind the shooting. The case is still in the early stages of investigation.

This shooting is part of a recent trend of gun-related crimes targeting local businesses in the city. Just last month, there were several similar attacks. On June 7, bullets hit the windows of Reflections Banquet Hall in Surrey. Four days later, on June 11, Hub Insurance was also shot at. Then on June 14, Satish Accounting Services was targeted by gunfire.

So far, all these cases have had one thing in common—no one was hurt. But each incident has left the business community shaken and worried. The shootings took place during the night or early morning hours. Police were often called hours after the shots were fired, once the damage was discovered.

Some local business owners have voiced concerns that these attacks may be linked to growing threats of extortion. In June, several South Asian business owners asked the police to take stronger steps. They said they were receiving threats demanding money. At that time, police confirmed at least 10 reports had been filed by business owners and individuals.

The threats have not been limited to Surrey. Police believe this issue could be part of a wider problem. They are trying to figure out if the Monday shooting is also part of these extortion attempts. So far, no official connection has been made.

Police are now gathering security video and speaking to anyone who may have seen or heard something. Officers say they are taking this matter seriously. They have asked the public to report anything that could help the investigation. Even small details could be useful.

People living and working near the banquet hall are feeling uneasy. Many are worried about their safety. Some business owners are thinking about adding more security. Others say they are afraid to talk publicly, fearing they could be targeted next.

Police say they are working closely with the community and are stepping up patrols in key areas. They want to make sure business owners and residents feel safe again.

The Monday shooting has raised more questions than answers. Police do not yet know who was behind the attack or why it happened. But they are determined to find out. The recent wave of gunfire has left many people on edge, and the pressure to solve these cases is growing.

Authorities are urging anyone with tips, video footage, or suspicious activity to come forward. They say public support is key to stopping this pattern of violence.

As the investigation into the Surrey banquet hall shooting continues, police are exploring every angle. They are working to uncover the motive, find those responsible, and restore peace to the area.
