Whistler Blackcomb targets November 21 for the 2025-26 ski season opening. The resort is preparing for its 60th anniversary with new experiences for skiers and snowboarders.

The resort will introduce “Wonder Routes,” a network of trails and stops highlighting both the mountain’s terrain and its après-ski culture. Visitors can also look forward to the World Ski and Snowboard Festival, returning in April.

The 2025-26 season is expected to run through May, weather permitting, offering more than six months of skiing and snowboarding for passholders and guests.

Epic Passes remain available at the lowest fall price until September 1. The 2025-26 Epic Pass costs $1,075 for adults and $548 for children. Passholders get access to Whistler Blackcomb and over 90 resorts worldwide.

This season also brings “Epic Friend Tickets.” Each passholder can receive six to ten vouchers for half-price lift tickets to share with friends. Friends who use these tickets can apply the full price toward a 2026-27 pass.

Epic Pass benefits include 20% off food, lodging, rentals, and lessons through Epic Mountain Rewards. Passholders can also use the My Epic app for mobile lift tickets, real-time trail maps, and friend tracking on the mountain.

Whistler Blackcomb’s focus on the 60th anniversary season aims to enhance the guest experience. New routes, festive events, and digital tools make skiing and snowboarding easier and more fun than ever.

The resort continues to emphasize safety and accessibility while offering world-class terrain for beginners, intermediates, and advanced skiers. The addition of Wonder Routes will help visitors explore key parts of the mountain while enjoying scenic viewpoints and social spots.

Epic Pass options provide flexibility for families, groups, and solo travelers. With early-bird pricing ending September 1, passholders can save while securing access to a full season of skiing and snowboarding.

For those looking to maximize their winter adventure, Whistler Blackcomb’s combination of new trails, festival events, and digital tools ensures a memorable season. Passholders can track friends, plan routes, and book lessons directly from the My Epic app.

With more than six months of snow sport opportunities, Whistler Blackcomb remains a top destination for winter enthusiasts worldwide. The 2025-26 season promises innovation, fun, and value for all visitors.
